Nataional Intel Senior Trainer and Ed Tech Consultant
Hi Naomi,
Thanks for the message. What hotel is the WI educators group staying at? Is it one we can register at through the online housing sign-up or different? I am looking for "cost savings" ideas. Still trying to figure out the dates that I want to be there, but trying to get that all settled while I have options still.
Yes I am very excited about it. Can't wait!
Nancy- I was also very fortunate that WI was part of a partnership with Intel Teach to the Future program. I started out as a Master Trainer, and this last year as I moved out of my Tech Director position and started my own consulting corporation the state department approached me to lead up the Intel training in WI. Intel in return approached my to be a National senior trainer based off of my past technology training practices, my leadership in WI, and my technology keynote presentations. Perhaps the partnership will expand to MN soon and the training will begin :-)
Naomi, this is the second time I have happened upon your name. As I scanned the Ning members, I recognized your name. I couldn't help but think to myself, "How did she do it?" as I read your profile About Me. What you are now doing in your career is something I have daydreamed about for over 5 years. After 30 years in the classroom, now the computer lab, I am looking for a step towards a position much like yours. May I ask how and what hoops you jumped through to be an Intel Senior Trainer? I am an Intel Teach to the Future Master Teacher. I would appreciate your reply and your friendship.
