Love that picture of the three of you. It was fun bringing Jason in to the conference virtually. He even showed up in my video for GTA. Love it. I will be making a contribution when the holidays are over. So glad to hear it is going well. It's great that we can start the conversations here in this ning. Thanks for all you do.

Cory--you of all people should know I am 100% focused! I would never get distracted by cute boys! Now....what was I saying???

BTW---I am excited to get to introduce you to both of the Newbies at the "preconference PD retreat." We are going to have a BLAST! Make sure your hiking boots are broken in.

Beth, put me down for a $10.00 donation. I haven't had a chance to contribute yet, but will definitely do so! Jason is a great candidate who has so much enthusiasm for teaching and for giving his students awesome opportunities for learning!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support for the ISTE Newbie project. We are exactly half way to the goal of $1600. We are taking a break from fund raising until the middle of January. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season.

LOL but seriously, this project does resonate because it brings up how powerful our PLN can be, mentorship, sharing & blogging, and how to best utilize the professional development opportunities that come our way! i hope to meet you F2F at ISTE10 and i hope you come by the Smackdown! Interesting observation regarding Richard and Jason. Would you believe me if I said I hadn't noticed? (No---I didn't think so!) Looks aside, they really are two amazing educators. I could not have chosen better people to work with for this project.
