Digital Arts Studio (or Playground)

What an awesome time we had on Tuesday, June 29 at our ISTE 2010 Digital Arts Studio! I've posted pictures (just go to my photos or search Digital Arts Studio) and Mara kept a blog update during the DAS located at http://artseducator20.wikispaces.com/ISTE+2010

Also some videos on ISTEVision. :)

More updates to come....

Jump into an exciting play place of digital media! Create a claymation scene, compose a musical soundtrack, play with digital video, layout a webpage or dive into graphic design. With a variety of activities and resources to choose from, your inner child will be delighted.

We will be raffling off software and devices related to digital arts creation. Stop by the DAP to sign up. You don't need to be present to win.

We will have interactive demos. Those currently scheduled are:

DAP sounds terrific! My company has created two games - ItzaBitza and ItzaZoo - where the focus is on a new way to learn to read through drawing. We see it as Accessible, Playful, Powerful Print and Art for young children and literacy learning.

If appropriate, I'd be more than happy to demo. I should be able to get a multitouch Win7 machine...which is super fun to draw right on the glass.

The games are based on 30+ years of research into how people learn combined with professional game design. They've won most important children software awards.

We'd be honored to participate if you feel we can provide value. http://SabiGames.com
