What do you think of the Crowdsourcing process?
For the first time ever, ISTE has used a version of crowdsourcing to select a speaker for one of its three Keynote sessions. Today, January 15, is the final day for voting, and we are curious...what do you think about our process?

The only issue I see about crowd-sourcing is that if the issue you want crowd-sourced isn't "sexy" or "exciting" then it gets no attention. I see a lot of potential to use crowd-sourcing to gather a huge amount of valuable data for professional development or for educational research, but try and convince enough people that these uses are worth doing. Sigh.
I love crowd-sourcing, and some sort of version of it will be necessary if we intend to overcome our inherent problems in how we design and organize curriculum for students.
